This year's keynote speaker is Mike Daniels, one of the finders of the Queen Anne's Revenge. There will be exhibits, silent auctions, a 50/50 raffle, entertainment, and shows by the aquarium staff. ECARA is a non-profit organization that seeks to raise money to promote the understanding of the economic and ecological benefits of Artificial Reefs Eastern North Carolina and to raise money for creating new artificial reefs to sustain a healthy marine environment for the enjoyment of SCUBA Divers and Sports Fisherman along the Crystal Coast of North Carolina.
