The Symphony's season opens with three pieces from Leonard Bernstein's On the Town, followed by a new work commissioned by the Symphony from NC composer Sarah Kirkland Snider; Andrew Tyson joins the orchestra for Rachmaninoff's Piano Concerto No. 3. Grant Llewellyn conducts.
